AmanNet (“we”, “us”) is an IT services business based in Baghdad, Iraq. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and in plain language, as we do with everything else.

- Information you give us: when you fill in our free IT check form, message us on WhatsApp, call or email us, we receive the details you share. This can include your name, phone/WhatsApp number, business name, city, email, type and size of business, the services you're interested in, and a description of your IT challenges.
- Information about your systems: if you book a free IT check, we may review publicly visible information about your network and online services (for example, your website and internet-facing devices). We only do this for systems you own or are authorised to manage, and only with your agreement.
- Website usage information: like most websites, we collect basic, anonymous information about how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, device type, and which buttons are clicked. This helps us improve the site. We use Google Analytics for this, which uses cookies.
How we use your information
- To reply to your request and arrange your free IT check
- To prepare your IT Health Report and any quote you ask for
- To provide services if you become a client
- To contact you about your request by your preferred method (WhatsApp, phone or email)
- To understand and improve how our website works
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
We only share your information when needed to run our business, with:
- Service providers that help us operate, such as our website host, email provider and Google Analytics. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to contact us through WhatsApp. Their own privacy policy applies to messages sent through their app.
- Authorities, only if we are required to by law.
Confidentiality of your business data
When we work on your systems, we may see business files, customer records or patient information. We treat everything we see as strictly confidential. We access only what we need to do the job, and we never copy, keep or share your data beyond what the work requires.
How long we keep it
If you contact us but don’t become a client, we keep your enquiry details for up to 12 months, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep the information needed to provide and support our services for as long as we work together, and as required by law after that.
How we protect it
Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and form submissions go only to authorised AmanNet staff. We use access controls and the same security practices we recommend to our clients. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
